@TheGillsFC Great game today, shaky start for 10 mins then we just took over the game. Great performances all over the pitch, special shoutouts to Cirino and Khumbeni, best game in a Gills shirt for both #UTG
@TheGillsFC@Julian_KPI Gale, Hutton,Ogie, Dack and Hale showed up today. Andrews put in a good shift, with some confidence he could be a player for us. But too many in the squad just not good enough, Weโve sold players and bought in worse players, that takes some doing

Born on May 1, 1924, in Punjab, Major General Shabeg Singh was one of India's most decorated military officers. He served with distinction in WWII, 1947, 1962, 1965, and 1971 wars. He played a key role in training the Mukti Bahini, leading to Bangladeshโs liberation in 1971.
A fearless commander, Singh crushed insurgencies in Nagaland and was known for his battlefield acumen. In 1972, he was appointed GOC of Madhya Bharat Area (MP, Bihar & Odisha). For his service, he received the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM) and Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM).
But in 1976, just before retirement, Singh was stripped of his rank and pension on dubious corruption charges. He refused to misuse the Army to suppress democratic protests during the Emergency. He was humiliated - the only general in Indian history to be punished without a court martial.
Disillusioned, he joined Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale during the Dharam Yudh Morcha. Using his expertise, he fortified the Golden Temple complex. His defenses during Operation Blue Star led to heavy Indian Army casualties, far exceeding expectations.
On June 6, 1984, Singh was killed defending the Akal Takht. His death symbolized a tragedy: a patriot turned rebel not by ideology, but by betrayal. Ironically, he was cremated with full military honoursโa gesture that came too late.
Today, Shabeg Singh remains a martyr. A few can deny that he was a soldier who lived and died by his principles. A cautionary tale of honour, betrayal, and conviction.

@PhilStringer7 Johnson secured an agreement that allowed the U.K. to regain 25% of fishing rights from the EU over a 5 and a half year transition period, meaning EU fishing boats would still have access to fishing waters. The line about Jan 2026 is completely made up, but you know that already
@TheGillsFC@Julian_KPI We need to stop playing 5 at the back at home. With 2 holding midfielders, itโs like a 7 man defence. No link with the attackers, just hoping they pulls rabbits out of hats
