Hey, finally decided to use X properly.
I’m Manmit, been building in Web3 for 6+ years, mostly around DeFi, trading systems, wallets & blockchain infra.
I usually build more than I post, so I figured it’s time to change that.
Good to connect with builders here 🤝

A DeFi trade can be successful on-chain and still be a terrible trade.
Bad routing, slippage, stale quotes, MEV...
The contract did exactly what it was supposed to. The user still lost value.
That's the interesting part of building trading systems.
@baremetalbalak Still building in Web3, but I get where you're coming from. Sometimes the actual engineering feels like the least talked-about part of this industry. More real products, less noise. That's what I'd like to see too.
@LucisObscura520 Exactly. Users shouldn't need to open a block explorer just to figure out what happened to their money, A simple receipt would go a long way.
Hot take:
The best Web3 UX is when you forget you’re using Web3.
No wallet confusion.
No 5 transactions for one action.
No “switch network” every 30 seconds.
We still have a long way to go.
@almokhtar_al Mostly DeFi and the engineering behind making it work reliably at scale. Been building around trading systems and wallet infra for a while, and there's still plenty to figure out, AI security sounds interesting too. What are you exploring there?
@Sarvagnakadiya That bit about being an engineer first really hits. I think a lot of us got into Web3 one way or another and just kept building. Nothing wrong with figuring out what comes next, even after years in the space.
@ADHAMSROUR19@elforjani_ali@ericargent31113 This is a real pain point. Getting all the different pieces to work together can be harder than writing the smart contract itself.
A blockchain transaction can succeed while your backend still thinks it failed.
That’s the part people underestimate with DeFi infrastructure.
Execution is only half the problem. Knowing what actually happened is the other half.
