When @SadhguruJV Spoke of Krishna… Something Opened Within Me
At the end of Mahashivratri, when Sadhguru spoke about Krishna carrying the Atma Linga… and never beginning his day without worship… something inside me broke open.
He spoke of Krishna… of Shiva… of Yogeshwara…
Of being able to sing… dance… laugh… cry… without shame or inhibition.
He said… those who can be so open… will cross the line.
And I don’t know what happened.
I have always been a Krishna devotee...
In my younger days… my connection with Krishna was very deep… very intimate.
Then life happened… struggles happened… and somewhere in that pain… I became closed.
Very closed.
I did not even realize how much I had shut myself down.
But when he spoke that night… tears just flowed. Uncontrolled.
Not sadness… not joy… something deeper.
It felt like someone gently opened a locked door inside me.
Gradually… I see I am able to sing again.
Dance again.
Cry openly.
Laugh freely.
And when he said that those who can live like this will cross the line…
it felt like he was not speaking to a crowd…
he was speaking directly into my being.
Krishna… Shiva… Yogeshwara…
Perfect union with existence.
Shiva is worshiped by all…
Krishna in such oneness that when he played his flute, every creature became intoxicated with life.
Both have played such an important role in my life.
Today I can only bow down in gratitude.
For opening what I had unknowingly closed.
For doing this in millions of lives across the globe… not just mine.

She threatened to call the police. For my own safety, I myself called the police.
When the patrol arrived, without fully understanding the situation, I was scolded and humiliated, including by a lady constable. I was made to cry on the road at night, despite doing nothing wrong.
During this, the lady called the watchman and asked him to push me out of the gate. Two other women joined and verbally abused me, calling me a “beggar” and “drunk” (I was not drunk at all). She then threw ₹100 on the road in humiliation.
Namaskaram 🙏
While making talking to fellow meditators for the EOE program I spoke to one Akka 2 days ago and her story really touched me.
She did her Inner Engineering in 2011. Over the years her sadhana went up and down, and right now she’s going through a difficult phase, managing everything at home and taking care of her paralyzed mother all by herself.
Her mother is completely bedridden with no movement, no speech, no gestures , And from what i understood she has never been exposed to Isha or any of the programs. She will be having lot of thoughts and emotions but its very difficult for her to put them out.
But Akka shared something that made me pause.
One day, with great difficulty, her mother somehow tried to communicate something. Slowly… painfully… she tried to convey that she wants to go to the Isha Yoga Center.
I guess she would be 70+ year-old woman, paralyzed, unable to even speak and yet something inside her stirred so deeply that she pushed herself just to express this one longing.
Akka said she can’t take her all the way to the ashram due to her condition, but she will take her to a nearby sannidhi so she can sit there for some time. And her mother understood and agreed.
It moved me so much…
How does someone who has never been to Ashram (from what i understood) feel such a powerful calling?
Where does such longing arise from?
Sometimes, Grace works in ways we simply cannot understand.
Still wondering how she would have tried to express her thoughts…
Just wanted to share this with all of you.
Because moments like these remind us why our little efforts and volunteering truly matter. 🙏🌼

The recipe of building the life you want is quite simple: a clear goal, a strong sense of urgency, a distraction-free environment that allows you to stay focused, and a loyal circle of supportive family and friends.
