The super cool thing I found today in the @mfnberlin collection: a teratological cuckoo wasp (left)! Female Chrysididae of this genus usually show three metasomal segments (right) but this specimen has the second tergite divided on one half and shortened on the other 😮
I am very thrilled to visit the Hymenoptera collection of the @mfnberlin this week 😊🐝 Apart from browsing through the numerous Chrysidoidea specimens, I also went admiring the gigantic dinosaurs of the main exhibition 🦕
