@L0FI_beasts @NewWestSandy @vancolour In terms of productivity, we likely deserve a C- grade. In the same timespan, the U.S. built 8 LNG facilities (vs 1 in BC). They produce 114 MT (~$65B) vs our 11MT (~$7B). We cannot build without tax dollars right now and we’re leaving billions on the table. That is bad.

@NewWestSandy @happyhamers @vancolour Canadian visitors only represents 3% to 4% of total visitors for Las Vegas. Not material. It’d be far smarter to approve multiple oil pipelines in Northern BC as well as LNG facilities. Private capital will do it if you remove bans / indigenous bribes.

@NewWestSandy @vancolour We could start to utilize our natural resources? Seems like a no brainer. It’s our primary negotiating card. Either the populace starts working harder and we use these resources (oil, copper, timber) or accept a lower standard of living. Pretty simple

@politicalham @hmacbe China is working down oil inventories to avoid a price shock. They want to consumer more but are attempting to mitigate inflationary pressures. Oil and LNG demand is high and we’re leaving billions on the table.
