The key to this election mapping project and many other possible ones is to draw on the analog sources that we find in the archives and give them a new, digital treatment. How to do that?

One of the features of the project using historical spatial data is that you can display changing district boundaries and instantly understand the consequences of redistricting. The changes in 1966 in NC-2 meant a much more competitive race and a new Representative.
