@BoomertarianN @greggnunziata It's just (Lew) Rockwell's law in practice. If the intelligence agencies say someone is bad, that means they are good. If they say someone is good, that means they are bad.

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@MONTECRI5TO @BigBlueGoonie Wasn't the whole reason he was sitting out because he wanted a new contract immediately? Why are we assuming they don't have an agreement that's going to be signed in the coming days/weeks?

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@JordanRaanan They built this team for the Jaxson Dart offense and clearly want to be playing that way. I dont think they traded for JJM to be a backup, he is going to play once he gets up to speed, barring Jameis being too good to be benched.

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@JustinPenik @mkbmarisa but he has traded players in season for picks

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@KSIXI Spotrac says they arent on the hook for much this year, so thats a saving grace.

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@KSIXI We also shouldnt ignore his guaranteed salary this year or next.

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@rydunleavy He's completely failed Jokic since their title season. He's experienced at squandering the prime of all-timer, he'll fit seemlessly into opening the Angels.

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@MattWelch I want to be happy for you, but look what's been going on with the Nuggets since their title. In a sport where you don't have to spend, I'd be scared they he won't.

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@achester99 But it's true his total career value isn't up there because of injuries. He's also had the misfortune of being in the NFC where the same tackles make it every year.

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@achester99 He was an All-Pro in 2022 and finished 3rd last year in PFF ranking for tackles, so there have been opportunities.

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@achester99 Hunter Henry still active, so AT definitely a snub

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@achester99 Andrew Thomas snubbed for the second time this summer (unless this is retired players only)

[mar_ar @mar_ar]

@noam_dworman @Aizenberg55 This was an excellent conversation, I feel much richer for having listened to it. Thank you!

@twentee7 @JustinPenik My sinorice moss jersey gathering dust in the back of my closet.
