Bryce and I first chatted about this opportunity back in March when I was in the early stages of figuring out how to expand the team as I continued to help scale up other games like Riftbound.
Since then, we’ve had a lot of conversations about what the future of TFT needs and how we can take it into its next iteration of growth. I’m so excited to have someone like Bryce in the role who can deeply empathize with high level players, pros, and creators. Please don’t hold back in your chats with Bryce, he wants to hear it all!
Everyone on our team wanted to give you all one last surprise. They not only poured their love and passion into Samira, but also managed to find a way to do the same with Sett as well.
They are both so fun, and we can't wait for you to get your hands on them. Much love.

The announced changes to replays are being delayed to patch 26.21.
We are working on a solution to ensure the creators and coaches out there that rely on replays are not meaningfully impacted by this change and want to have that in place before this goes live.
Sam Altman (@sama) wrote that the hardest thing to do in business is build a company that keeps innovating and stays at the top of its industry for decades.
In 2016, he asked Michael Moritz how Sequoia has done it. Sam said the answer was so good that he asked if they could release it publicly, which YC had never done before.
Moritz's answer comes down to five ideas.
(1) Yesterday is irrelevant
(2) Keep the team fresh
(3) Change with the market
(4) Stay one step from going out of business
(5) Take on the incumbents (this is what keeps him going)
MUST WATCH: Captain Smit Machchhar, the FlyDubai pilot who saved the lives of 174 passengers after being stabbed by his copilot, did a video call with India PM Narendra Modi.
0:43 Modi: "We Indians are not people who take lives. We are people who save lives."
1:03 Modi: "In that moment, you didn't care about your own life. You cared about the lives of all the passengers."
2:18 Machchhar: "In that moment, sir, I was fighting for my life. But there was a moment when I realized: if I didn't do something… Because I had already given up on life. I had taken so many wounds, I was down on the floor. And even then, I said: if I don't get up… I've been flying for 17 years. I've been a captain for the last 11 years. Even with my eyes closed, I can tell what's happening in the plane. When I was down on the floor, I could feel that the plane was going down."
3:00 Machchhar: "And I knew for sure: this is the last push. 'Smit, do it. The door.' That's all it was. And even then, I was still taking blows. I just got it open, sir, and the others came forward. And everyone else had just as big a role in it."
3:21 Machchhar: "I knew I was doing it at the risk of my own life. But at the same time, I also knew I couldn't watch them all die."
4:01 Machchhar: "Now I know that Gd saved me."
8:23 Modi: "Today is Gandhi Jayanti [Gandhi's Birthday]. You have lived and shown the world what non-violence is."
Hero.

Quick update: New desk tops are being installed tomorrow morning ahead of matches. We’ll give players the option to go wireless again to confirm the issue is resolved. If we see any mouse stutters persist, we’ll immediately go back to wired.
Thankfully today was a much better day. Aside from some smaller audio issues at the beginning, matches ran without disruption. Thank you to all the players for being good sports and for being open to going wired.
We share your disappointment. Our events, production, tech, ops, creative and broadcast teams care deeply about this event, and it’s been painful to see tech issues get in the way.
We’re all hands on deck and won’t stop until this is fully resolved.
Appreciate your passion, patience and support as always.
