@QuizBidnessV2@abctn@CrimsonFox187@TitansRossi And some reason, pundits made excuses for his mediocrity. In spite of having guys like McNair, George, Mason, and a bunch of DEF studs, many people acted like he was a massive overachiever with little talent.
@abctn@CrimsonFox187@TitansRossi No way Fisher gets in. His mediocrity is pretty amazing though. Only six winning seasons in 22 years, but he still has an overall winning record due to another 10 seasons going 8-8 or 7-9. Most years, his teams were not good or bad. Just kinda there.
@sahilkapur Last Trump midterm (2018), Barr only won KY06 by 3. Plus, Democrats had higher turnout in this year's primary. Not surprising that in this environment with no Trump on the ballot, a candidate with a Hispanic last name might think he can't count on MAGA to get him across the line.
@NicoleAuerbach You do realize he's been waived by a bad NFL team, right? Going back to college for a year would probably help his NFL chances next year more than bouncing around practice squads. Basketball players go thru the combine and return to college for the same reason.
@PorterZoey6481@T1gerBait@gjmoore96 I'm not an LSU fan & I don't think this move should be allowed, but it's really stupid to believe a GM would hold it against a player who got cut & goes back to college where he can get actual playing time to improve his game instead of trying to get on a practice squad.
Can you inform your stores in Lexington KY that the Honey Buddy Chicken Biscuit is so much better when they include the chicken? It's a small thing but I think can lead to improved sales.
@Wendys
@JemmingPaula@BulwarkOnline Garbage argument. Plenty of places allow lengthy medical absences without replacing the employee. And you can't temporarily replace a member of Congress. What objective criteria can you use to say one sick member can stay until they're better but another has to be removed?
@JemmingPaula@BulwarkOnline And how is that different from what I said? He's a federally elected official which means he doesn't work for the governor. Saying he works for us is only nominally true. I can't order him to mow my lawn and there is no requirement that he give me detailed medical information.
@JemmingPaula@BulwarkOnline McConnell doesn't work for Beshear and owes him nothing. His doctor (who works for Congress) released a statement on what McConnell is undergoing so the part about no notice or communications is absurd. And Beshear doesn't actually care. He's just starved for attention.
@JoelBar74385617@jmontforttx How is it even remotely misleading? He was responding to someone who said in America you take the oath on a Bible. He presented cases where Presidents did not take their oath on a Bible even in some cases where it was available. Seems pretty factual.
@MrBridges10@ChrisAlanMiller@rinalu_ Hiroshima wasn't a remotely Christian city. I guess Nagasaki was a Christian city by Japan's standards, but that still meant a pretty negligible 5% of the population. Not to mention Nagasaki wasn't even the target that day. Kokura had bad visibility so they turned to Nagasaki.
@scottlincicome Of course he's not going to spend his super PAC money. He needs it to pay the PAC's overhead expenses when he's out of office. Like renting a jet from his library.
@_themoman@jimgeraghty I've never favored the parliamentary system, but it's not a crazy proposal. And the present situation makes it look less unattractive. Checks and balances are the main selling point for our system, but that's being pissed away by a compliant Congress refusing to oppose the Pres.
@Hokie20121207@jimgeraghty No, I'm an actual smart person. Not sure what you are. What dots do you think you connected? Jim said she hadn't worked as a prosecutor since 2005. You seem to be implying that she left it to raise her children for 18 years before returning to the workforce. She was out 2 years.
@Hokie20121207@jimgeraghty Is Hokie trying to say Pirro left the workforce in 2005 when in reality she left the DA job to try to run for Senate and then run for NY Attorney General? Is he also ignoring that she returned to the workforce in 2008 to do a TV show?
