Early eve patrol of ECP, LDNP boundary. A huge thanks to local volunteers for collecting absolute mamouth amounts of plastic/sea detritus throughout the months of spring & summer.

I have been fortunate to travel most of the world when I was military.

However, nothing beats cruising the Trent & Mersey for 8 days in a 69 footer with the loves of your life.

It's been a while since I last posted.

The Lake District NPA has kept me busy with first aid at work and conflict resolution.

Now, I am back on the fells carrying out fullfilling work backed up with outstanding views.

@fixthefells staff and volunteers have had a great two days giving the Corridor Route to Scafell Pike some much needed TLC. Drains unblocked, pitched steps installed, path definition and landscaping. Huge amount of engagement with the public. Views were not too shabby either

Emergency services, farmers and residents still require access to these areas. If gaps are too small as pictured, vehicles may struggle to navigate through.

Abandoned campsites are a real hazard to nature. Our teams are forced to clear them when we find them.
