Corals are feeling the heat on a reef off of Townsville, QLD. Many still look colorful and healthy but lots of Acropora colonies, + a few other genera, on the reef flat and slope are starting to fluoresce and bleach in the warm water (31C on the reef flat) and intense sun 🥵
