Why is a northwest flow so good for the cottonwoods? Because it passes moist air over the 9th & 9th snow whale. Upon hitting the whale, the air is infused with magic and rises, cools, condenses, and falls as snow downstream in the canyons. This is called Orcagraphic Lift.
