okay. context. chris asked me where i wanted to stand for the picture so i said between him & justin cuz i’m short & it’d be funny. so then chris was like “oh i’m gonna stand on my tiptoes then” and justin was like “SAME ME TOO” so. they’re tippy toes. which is why i’m laughing
kinda think horror movies serve the same emotional function for humanity as the Greek tragedy once did: catharsis. same goes for film noir. you get to feel some bad feelings for a couple hours, and then you exorcise them.

I wish there was a popular religion that celebrates people enjoying life, eating delicious food (and believing that's a human right for everyone), relaxing, appreciating art, having pleasurable sex if they wish, *avoiding* pain & suffering as much as possible instead of this
