$sofi
How low can Sofi go?
Most of this turmoil recently is market and macro driven so that's hard to say. Clearly the market is doing most of the feds work. I think it would be a mistake if the Fed raises next meeting.
The Federal Reserve doesn't need to engineer an overreaction recession to prove its desire to fight inflation. 2% skid not be a live or die goal
The bond market's severe selloff has already tightened financial conditions to multi-decade highs, the Fed has been handed a perfect window to pause and wait. Holding interest rates steady on October 28th allows the temporary energy shock to clear naturally while preventing a severe economic hard landing.
The market is effectively trying to force the fed hand and profit from selling and shorting bonds.
It could get ugly for the whole market.. based on overall 3.7% cpi that's mostly oil, when everything else is lower
You can't raise rates to lower oil prices... you just risk killing the economy.
For sofi. We need a 2 cent beat or a 1 cent beat and increased guidance, if not for this year, clearly for next year.
Time to be bold and protect shareholders here and I've not said that before.
@StockMarketNerd If you look under the hood, most stocks have fallen much more than 20% Sofi, lmnd, etc. very few stocks are holding the indexes up. That’s why most people are hurting
The craziest thing about #AI is the more money companies put in the less they get out.
It's a losing $ product.
Companies are borrowing $ at high rates to invest in #AI and it's not even paying for itself.
One day this will come to an ugly end.
When you try to get a stock on a low bid the MM brings it up a penny more.
You rarely get it.
When you try to get out on the ask price.
They won't let you.
They will drop the ask.
This is how the Algo is programmed.
So If I like a stock I buy a small amount of shares on the ask then try selling it on the ask.
Then it drops and I get the stock cheaper.
$ETH - This isn't bearish, it's the reality that after such an explosive move things often consolidate. A lot of people will over trade consolidation instead of being patient.
What a miserable flying experience @JetBlue 2 hour delayed and now the plane has to return to gate for maintenance. Will miss my car rental. Still no idea if the flight will even happen.
When a Big Cap is blowing up like $META was for me today you run with it then sell at your price target.
Once it starts dropping.
Let it drop.
Buy it again only at low ball prices.
You don't buy a drop in a stock with the major market falling unless you see a bottom first.
Otherwise you lose.
When I see a stock dropping like $HIMS.
I stay away.
It's too risky to buy stocks that are dropping on earnings etc.
That's the exact opposite of what you should be doing.
You have to wait for them to bottom first and that can take some time.
You actually want to be buying stocks going higher.
Especially if you can get them on a fake pull back.
Some important trading tips.
1) Don't buy more shares than you should.
It's normal for even a strong stock to pull back before it goes even higher.
Don't br forced to sell because you bought too much and then watch the stock go higher.
