@MrPool_QQ Countless centuries of recorded history and no one ever mentioned endless tooth generation until now? But it was fluoride? What about all the countries that don’t use fluoride?
@michaeljknowles Christian Scientist is definitely not Christian, but the problems with LDS theologically go beyond just not affirming Trinitarian theology. They also believe that God was once a man like us and that one day we could become gods over our own planets. God is one of many...
Steven Bartlett, host of the podcast, The Diary of a CEO, released an interview with Christian apologist, John Lennox, this week, and his closing comments to him were fascinating:
"One of the most compelling arguments for God that you've presented (and your way of seeing the world and being) is not actually necessarily anything you've written in your books or not not necessarily anything you've said. It is actually you.
You have a certain peace and contentment that I rarely see in people that I interview, but I often see, and I've almost always seen, in the Christians that I've interviewed, and this is a interesting phenomenon for me...it seems to be a trend that a lot of the Christian apologists that I've interviewed have that anchoring that so many of us are looking for."
What a great witness.

@abierkhatib@ShadowofEzra I am an outspoken Christian who spent 6 days unscripted days in Israel last year and was only treated with kindness everywhere I went in spite of openly sharing my faith. There's always extremists like what you are showing here. That doesn't make it representative of the whole.
Most Tulum rentals? You're brushing teeth with bottled water. Our villa has reverse osmosis from every tap — drink it, cook with it, ice cubes included.
One less thing to pack, one more reason to relax.

Poor Americans who attend church regularly are happier than rich Americans who never go.
Behavioral scientist William von Hippel thought he'd made a coding error. He hadn't.
"Regularly attending services has a bigger impact on your happiness than wealth," he writes. "Money buys a fair bit of happiness but connection gives you more bang for the buck."
What's happening? Rich people already have most of what money buys. What they lack is what churches provide for free: weekly, repeated contact with people who know your name.
Von Hippel is direct about the cost: "I suspect that wealthy, educated urbanites are paying a steeper price for their lifestyle than they realize. Many of us have paid too great a price in connection for our increased autonomy."
No, Dawkins did not “destroy” Morgan. In fact, he defeated his own argument when he said that our minds are incapable of understanding due to millions of years of evolution on the African plains. In fact, if that is true, we have no reason to trust our minds whatsoever including as it pertains to evolution, biology etc.

Tyler Robinson’s romantic partner — Lance Twiggs, who identifies as transgender — is cooperating with prosecutors and will testify at Robinson’s preliminary hearing for the ass∗ssination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
Twiggs has been “𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦” with investigators and turned over 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 that are devastating to Robinson’s defense: discussions about retrieving a rifle from a drop point, leaving the rifle in a bush, visually watching the area where the rifle was left, and references to a scope and engraved bullets.
A handwritten note found by Twiggs under Robinson’s keyboard read: “𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘳𝘬, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐’𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵.”
When Twiggs asked Robinson why he did it, Robinson allegedly said: “𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘥. 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘵.”
Robinson’s parents are also expected to testify for the prosecution. His legal team is trying to delay the preliminary hearing — currently scheduled for May 18 — by 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐱 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬, citing the volume of evidence.
The person closest to the accused k∗ller is the prosecution’s star witness. The handwritten confession note alone is a case-closer.
