@TurkTalksFC It has been evident in recent weeks that Shaw can’t get up the pitch and assist in attacking. A more dynamic full back required, with Shaw becoming a squad player. Defensively, Shaw still good. Can’t lose all our experienced players.

🚨The "Three years on..." part needs some context -- in reality its "Seven years and two months on..." 🔺The Premier League's investigation started in December 2018. 🔺City refused to give the PL the requested information to conduct the investigation -- which in itself is a breach of the rules. 🔺This forced the PL to appoint a panel that could force City to hand over information to the PL (or sanction them if they didn't). 🔺City however immediately launched a legal assault against the PL's appointment of the panel intended to force City to hand over information. 🔺At the center of City's case, initiated in November 2019, was the fact that the PL kept a long list of high-ranking barristers or retired judges from which the "judges" of the panel, that will decide the case, could be chosen from. City claimed that this made the judges for the panel impartial. This objection was shot down by English courts in March 2021. While City "lost" the objection, they manage to delay the charges from December 2018 to March 2021 -- by not handing over the requested information. 27 months. 🔺City then fought the courts to keep the proceedings confidential (a view shared by the PL, i.e. that they should be kept confidential). In July 2021, Lord Justice Males issued the ruling with the below famous statement. 🔺After more litigation in the English courts, battles to prevent information being handed over to the PL, and information that to this day has not been handed over by the account of the charges being increased from "115" to "130", the charges were made public three years ago. God knows what else has gone on behind the scenes.
