🚨🇺🇦 Ukrainian forces have liberated Pokaliane on the Vovchansk axis in Kharkiv Oblast and are advancing toward the Russian border, marking another territorial gain in northeastern Ukraine.
The reported liberation of the settlement comes amid continued Ukrainian counterattacking operations in the Vovchansk sector, where Ukrainian troops are pushing Russian forces back and regaining ground closer to the international border.
🔥 The advance adds to Ukraine’s recent gains across the northern front. Continued progress toward the border could further reduce Russia’s foothold in the area and strengthen Ukraine’s defensive positions along this strategically sensitive sector.

Ukrainian attack drones hit Russia's Sasta machine-tool plant tonight, colocated with a major datacenter belonging to the Russian internet giant Yandex.
Multiple explosions and a large fire were reported at the complex in Ryazan Oblast.
BREAKING:
Ukraine has struck a Russian data center for the first time.
The Yandex data centre in Sasovo in the Ryazan region was hit a few hours ago and burned down to the ground.
Russia launched its first attacks on Ukrainian data centers a few weeks ago. Zelensky commented on it 4 days while answerings questions from reporters next to Chancellor Merz in Kyiv, saying “do they really think we won’t respond with strikes against their data centers too?”
Overall, 25 people were killed in this massive Russian strike on Ukraine. One hundred people were injured. It was a combined attack, involving many ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as “shaheds.” This is the kind of “gift” Putin gave himself for his birthday.
Ukrainian warriors shot down 44 missiles – both cruise and ballistic. Not all of those launched by Russia, and ballistic missiles are especially difficult to deal with. We suppressed 117 “shaheds” – most of those launched, but unfortunately, not all of them either.
Additional packages of air defense missiles are needed, as are additional measures to support Ukraine. And there will be appropriate packages. The threat is there every day, and every day, our air defense batteries need to have missiles ready. We strongly count on prompt deliveries from our partners.
Today, as a birthday “gift” to Putin, the Russian army destroyed a residential building in Pryluky, in the Chernihiv region. It was an ordinary five-story apartment building. Tragically, as of now, five people have been reported killed and 26 injured, including five children. There may still be people under the rubble. First responders are working nonstop at the site – doing everything possible to find every person. Russian missile strikes also damaged five apartment buildings in Dnipro and four high-rise buildings in Kremenchuk. Tragically, two people were killed and eight injured. A high-rise building in Zaporizhzhia was damaged by a drone. In Kyiv, the Russians killed two people. Two more people were killed in Oleksandriya… My condolences to all the families and loved ones of those killed. Overall, infrastructure in Kyiv and 12 regions came under attack last night.
One of the key targets was our energy infrastructure. The Russians wanted to strike painfully and demonstratively. This was one of the most vile strikes: 70 missiles in total, many of them ballistic, as well as “shaheds.” Unfortunately, only some of them were shot down. Russian ballistic missiles remain the greatest challenge. And air defense packages for us right now are a vital necessity. That is why every day we are looking for missiles for Patriot systems that can and must actually protect people’s lives here, in Ukrainian skies. Thank you to everyone who is helping us.
Ukraine’s just responses to all Russian strikes against our people. Over the past day, our warriors struck four targets that help Russia finance and wage its brutal war – two oil facilities and a training ground in the Perm, Samara, and Astrakhan regions. There was also a response in the Black Sea.
Samara oil pipeline hub is on fire in russia.
Notice how it’s not an apartment building, kindergarten, school, or hospital like when russia attacks Ukraine, but the aggressor’s economy, attacked to limit the aggressor’s ability to wage war, not to murder kids in their beds.
We’ve got updated intel on Russia’s preparations for a massive strike. I ask you, please, to take care of yourselves and respond to missile threat alerts. Ukrainian services and our Air Force are ready to respond – as much as our defenses allow. And a lot depends on our partners – every country in the world that has the defensive capabilities we need and can provide them to us. It’s very important that there be the political will to do this – particularly in the United States and in Europe.
After a drone attack, the Volodarskaya Oil Pumping Station is on fire
This is the largest oil depot in the Moscow region, handling around 3 million tons of petroleum products per year.
The station receives fuel from the Moscow and Ryazan refineries and is connected by product pipelines to Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo airports.
BREAKING: Ukraine has just struck an oil tanker, which is now burning off the coast of Sochi in Russia's Krasnodar region, with a massive fire and a black smoke column rising several kilometres.
Volodarskaya Linear Production and Dispatch Station is on fire in Moscow region after a massive drone attack on the area.
This is the largest oil depot and a major pipeline transport hub in the Moscow region.
It is connected by product pipelines to the Ryazan and Moscow oil refineries, as well as to the major airports of Moscow region (Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo, and Domodedovo).
Its annual throughout exceeds 3 million tons.
We expect that the U.S. side will succeed in arranging a trilateral meeting in October. For now, the Russians are focused solely on strikes against Ukraine and destabilizing activities in Europe. Putin now knows the situation in Europe – in specific countries – and the statistics on strikes far better than he knows what is actually happening on the front. And an important task for America and all our strong partners is to push Russia toward diplomacy and real steps instead of killing.
Plague is spreading in Russia.
Moscow is preparing emergency measures following an outbreak in the Irkutsk region. Relevant information is currently being relayed to medical facilities in the capital.
The alarm was raised after a 27-year-old female patient died in the Irkutsk region; two tests had confirmed a plague infection in her case. Consequently, nearly 200 contacts have been placed under medical observation—with some already hospitalized—while doctors work to trace further chains of contact.
Events are taking on increasingly biblical proportions.
Why are there still flights to and from Russia?
