If he’s doing leasing then he’s likely doing a load of pack prep i.e. here’s the asset requiring finance, he’s the company that wants to buy it. Asset valuation, KYC/KYB, form filling etc. means loads of annoying manual tasks AI can help with.
A brokerage is a two-sided marketplace; so he should also be able to get good results from outbound / ads to potential buyers and crawlers tracking new inventory. Sounds like an interesting one.

@torquespeak@eBay The eBay product for selling mainstream used cars could be compelling with a few small changes. Instead, a ‘win’ rarely seems to mean a sale. ‘Car sold - let’s see if the buyer collects’. It a terrible place for sellers, all to the benefit of CC, albeit a different market
@girdley I got sent a Dom/Sub contract instead of a resume once. I did reply to say I thought they may have added the wrong attachment, but I never heard back.
