@iBrews What I wouldn’t give to have been a fly on the wall at the “My Neighbor Totoro” and “Grave of the Fireflies” double feature. Can’t even imagine the audience whiplash. And yeah, one viewing was certainly enough for me.
@midjourney Not to be too harsh, but I’m guessing your legal team didn’t watch this video. Megaman? Squid game? You are promoting Midjourney’s ability to infringe copyrighted content. I wouldn’t be surprised if your legal opponents admit this video into evidence.
@GreeneElizabeth@keysmashbandit Yeah, with separated pages you could use a automatic document feeder scanner which is about 10 times faster than the fastest automatic book scanner. Not only that, but the automatic book scanner comes in at 27k - you could probably buy 100 document scanners for that amount.
This is definitely fun, but I think there is a deeper issue I’ve noticed where AI completely does not understand uniforms. Unless GW was rolling with Samuel B. Webb’s “decoy regiment” - what’s with all the redcoats on the American side?
@Xeunbadejo@JonTuckerUSA@r_marked Actually, they aren’t protected by copyright, not in the US anyway. They are not even registrable. https://t.co/bv7jbpviPi
Guess what... Old Friend is finally on Quest!

Do you have a Quest? Perhaps you'd like to download and enjoy it! Or tell your friends who have a Quest. Or just bask in the knowledge that it's there in case you want it.
@HistoryGPT From what I can say based on personal experience, historians will matter until primary sources are digitized. Even then, AI will struggle with previously preconceived biases from previous historians. Eventually it’ll get there though.
@elonmusk Have Grok ask follow up questions when there is ambiguity to achieve better results. Also, it should have a clear understanding of what primary sources are and give them more weight in responses.
