Today I joined Epic Games as Lead Gameplay Animator on Fortnite. I will be working with the team on Ballistic, a new first-person mode currently in early access. Here is a look back at some of my work over the past 5 years. https://t.co/0gMX4FUsCn
Overwatch is such a beloved game and we wanted to be authentic to the source material, so we asked ourselves the question…
“What if Fortnite had a fully *first* person weapon…”
And here we are!
So if you’re someone who has also pondered what Fortnite would look like in first person, we will see you tomorrow 🫡
Team crushed it 👏
Hey folks, while we're off to a good start with Chapter Seven - we want to do even better💪Hit me with any Battle Royale bugs and issues as a threaded reply🧵I'll be forwarding the responses to the team!🍿
Some housekeeping rules🗒️:
* Respect others' opinions - we are one community!💝
* Keep it courteous - mute and block buttons exist!🚫
* Share any media - seeing the problem, helps!📸
* Stay focused - keep it Battle Royale!🧠
* We will prioritise - this is still game dev, some may take time⏰
And - thank you!
Many months ago we set out to take Fortnite back to its Battle Royale roots - where every match would feel different, to give the game a quality of life update, and respect what has made Fortnite, Fortnite. I’m left both in awe and hugely proud of this team, and while the new Chapter is only just beginning - it’s great to start it by seeing such positivity from the community. Thank you for the feedback, we’re working our way through all of it - here’s to the future 🫡 🤝
@TriumphYt @JibbSmart@arCtyC@armanguy Thanks for the double ping and thank you so much for the incredibly thoughtful and constructive feedback. It has been noted! Thins kind of feedback is gold.
@ScarletSprites Same! The cars were poor/mans Voltron. Like GoBots to Transformers. I still have my voltron toy. The big plastic one. The smaller die cast was awesome too.
