@katie_pai Safety - often-cited reason by Sth African colleagues. Reasonably open-minded people. Diversity of landscapes - geothermal, glaciers, forests, mountain plateaus etc. within a few hours of each other. Opportunities you get living in a small country - sometimes less barriers.
