In response to Trump’s unjustified tariffs being imposed on Canada in flagrant violation of the trade agreement that HE negotiated, I am boycotting products and services from the USA. I know it’s not much but good riddance to Starlink, X, Facebook, Amazon, Google and many more.
@PierrePoilievre Do you really believe that childish name-calling is effective politics? I’m sure there are many catch nicknames to go with Poilièvre if your opponents were so juvenile.
@RealMetalTrump2 @TheOGLauraWalsh @bd_chad@Scaramucci The crude oil produced in the USA is not compatible with current US refineries. So it’s not as simple as drilling more. You’ll have to import more from Venezuela or elsewhere.
@TheCalvinReport @Scaramucci No matter what Trump says, the tariffs have nothing to do with border security, especially re the Canadian border. Illegal immigration from Canada to the USA is negligible. Also, a trade deficit is not a subsidy and is not inherently unfair.
@SigersonBell@Scaramucci Tariffs are taxes on Americans. The USA’s trade deficit with Canada is primarily because the U.S. buys a lot of Canadian energy (oil, gas, electricity). There is nothing unfair about that.
@kinsellawarren I will indeed boycott US products and services whenever possible, including X, Facebook, Netflix and Amazon among many others. I always favour Canadian products but I’m not going to boycott the rest of the world because of Trump.
@truckdriverpleb Drugs and illegal immigration are not the real reasons for the tariffs so it’s naive to think that some extra sheriffs, dogs and drones will change Trump’s mind.
@RodKahx Likewise for the imaginary illegal immigration from Canada to the USA. That and fentanyl are not the real reasons for Trump’s tariffs so “fixing” them won’t make the tariffs go away.
@engineers_feed I know they’re looking for 12 but “9=90” and the other equations are simply false. 3 always equals 3 (and never 12), even if the previous equations are wrong. Four false statements don’t change the rules of mathematics.
