Most surreal cab experience next to the Karaoke cab on my stag do. The driver has a big busy white beard, a belly full of jelly and a taxi that smells like mulled wine. Think Father Xmas is taking me home!
@BritishGas trying to sort an erroneous transfer you initiated without my consent yet it seems your specific department is constantly on training as every time I call that is what I am told. Just one in a litany of poor service I have received from you since this debacle started!
So after seeing drop in fitness in October now I have no more school runs, set myself a target to get running 5km in under 30 mins before the end of the year. First run on 16th October 39mins 32 secs, today 29mins 26secs. Now just need to keep up the exercise!!
my last day as a student I sat alone in the corridor as I was the last student to leave and then appeared Singapore Ben. He had returned for a holiday to see the hall. We chatted and then he walked me out of the very hall he walked me into.
Life can have uncanny symmetry at times. On my first day of uni a second year foreign student known as Singapore Ben met me and walked me to my hall of residence room. He graduated and returned home the following year. I went on to spend five years at uni, 4 in the same hall. On
@GWRHelp TfL informed me that it was you I needed to contact as it was your trains that caused the delay. However the agent has since written back saying they can now process the claim.
@GWRHelp currently trying to claim back for a nightmare contactless journey from Reading to London. This method produces no ticket and was informed here to send the tfl journey receipt which I did. Have just been told I cannot claim without a physical or e-ticket. V. Upset atm
I spoke to tfl who informed me that as it was a delay caused by GWR that you were responsible for dealing with refunds, so that leaves me stuck in the middle with nowhere to go.
In 1994 I sent a draft of my 1st book to a publisher. With the standard rejection letter was a handwritten note saying the style was good, but there were too many characters and people wouldn’t accept deaths of big characters. In 2022 the same work has been labelled derivative🤷♂️
@GWRHelp Thank you, I’ve found that now. However, and it asks for a bank statement with the stops tapped in and out of. My statement only has the total amount and doesn’t record any locations?
@GWRHelp Used the tap and go system Friday evening to go from Reading to London and back and suffered massive delays (2hrs 30 mins to get there, 1hr 30 mins to get back) How do I claim a refund with no physical ticket?
@GWRHelp It asks for me to upload a copy of the ticket though. I don’t have one as I paid with tap and go (which you can do and are recommended to use by the GWR staff in the station).
@TheSeanLock just watched an 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown where Sean lost it laughing. Whilst losing someone must be the hardest thing to cope with, the chance to see them experience such joy, time and time again is an amazing legacy to leave your family.
@realmikefox just facing my own possible journey down the nervous system issue disease route (MS, currently initial diagnosis, not confirmed with yearly tests to confirm diagnosis). Watching you on The Good Wife and inspired how you continued through adversity.
There are a lot of fake COVID vaccine emails doing the rounds at the moment. Received this one today and I had to double take before realising it was fake (and I’m working for the NHS atm). Always check the from field and if an email like this asks for payment details then avoid!
