It’s amazing how no roof canopies is suddenly a horrible design in 2026. Even for the NFL and college we’re seeing domes or canopy roofs providing shade in open air stadiums. Northwestern’s Ryan Stadium will be the coolest college football stadium even though it only has a capacity 37 or 38k.
@sportsrage Of course it is. It’s getting renovated while they’re still playing in it. Kind of a misleading pic as that whole opposite side grandstand seating is closed. A lot of fans prefer not to attend under these circumstances.
Happy Mother’s Day from Fort Wayne Football Club. 💛🖤
Today is about celebrating the moms who love, support, encourage, sacrifice, and show up for the people around them every single day.
And for the soccer moms helping to keep the game moving — the drivers, schedulers, supporters, and sideline voices — we’re still accepting nominations to recognize one who deserves a little extra appreciation:

A stadium of this quality in a Midwest working class industrial town like Fort Wayne would have been unthinkable just 10-15 years ago. And yet, here it is.
Got a midfield seat for $33. And parking was only $9.
A must visit!
Only two of the five massive columns that support the Megatron are in place as we have had delays from the fabricator in Grand Rapids. The final three all get erected today and the first one just arrived onsite a half an hour ago. Then there will still be three weeks of complex additional steel that will be erected that makes up the cage structure to which the led panels attach to form the 120’X36’ display. The structure will be over 50’ high at it casts its shadow from the southern edge of the pitch.
We will have total flexibility in terms of how we ultimately decide to deploy 4300+ square feet of display space. Our broadcast production team is developing with a strategy that prioritizes the actual live stream and replay video that is cinema. We want to combine the amenities of a living room experience with the electricity of a live experience.
Best clues are her clothes. Paneling could have been from the 60’s but doesnt mean it couldn’t be 1978 pic. I think that TV is more early to mid 70’s. VCR late 70’s. Remember the Betamax smaller cartridge. I think that came out in 1975. I know this is VHS but would indicate that it could be late 60’s.
Well, I suspect the strategy is to maximize revenue by any party that sees an opportunity to increase their margin. Albeit ticket price, parking, public transportation, hotels, restaurants, etc. As consumers, we have the choice to watch on television if we think it’s over priced.
It will be packed. US fans think because the US is hosting the World Cup that it is entirely for the enjoyment of folks who live in this country. Thats why they don’t understand the price which set based on world demand rather than what an average American is willing to pay for a ticket. 😂😂😂
