@kenoflynnTD Must be over half a million a year being generated in Dublin airport alone by @returnireland and they refuse to do anything to give the money to charity…..
@CWeston_Indo Unfortunately the only option is to spend time switching providers each year. The similarities in energy companies prices suggest we have an energy market that’s looking more like a cartel and a toothless regulator in the @UtilityregCRU
@BarryWhyte85 Complete scam, @returnireland are making tens of thousands of euro from almost impossible ability to get a deposit back Dublin airport alone. Raised it with @returnireland and @DublinAirport - neither interested in resolving. At least do something for charities to get the money
@Padraiccleary@philipnolan1 Calling the @UtilityregCRU incompetent is an understatement! Found out yesterday the CRU allow the energy companies up to 2 weeks to make the changes if you switch provider so you get charged an extortionate rate waiting. Anyone know what the CRU actually regulate???
@rtenews@SimonHarrisTD there is circa €6m A DAY landing in the governments coffers from additional tax and duty on the ever increasing price of fuel. The government are in a position to help because they have more than €120m extra duty collected already……….
@CWeston_Indo Government are in no rush to provide any solutions when they are taking in around €6m A DAY of additional taxes from petrol and diesel alone… Ireland already has one of highest elec prices in EU before the war, I fear we are about to see another level of price gouging on elec
@CWeston_Indo@cooper_m@lstwrd I cannot think of a more obvious and blatant price gouging move in a long time and this country has some serious amount of price gouging going on the last while……..
@techbuzzinfo@circlekireland My local @circlekireland increased by 8c a litre today. Blatant profiteering price gougers - this fuel was bought and in the country well before last weekend @CCPCIreland should be investigating this immediately
@astralnative91@djstevemcgrath@n26@monzo Agree. I moved from an old fashioned Irish bank to N26 a few years ago and no issues, good customer service. Monzo are about to enter the market to give some more much needed competition in the Irish banking market!
