This is a picture of two women from Vernon Cadet Training Centre, which holds summer programming for 12-18 year olds to develop skills on the way to adulthood.
Unlike Pete Hegseth, they’re not drunk in public.
Trump’s Americans are despicable people of low moral character.
This right here is reason enough to cancel the F-35s.
No money to grown ass men who troll Instagram feeds filled with pictures of children between the ages of 12 and 18.
I don't care how drunk they are.
Ex-CIC Instructor here. Richard nails it.
This is a wonderful program where kids can have fun and learn valuable leadership skills. One slight correction: it's still for youth aged 12-19 years.
Bravo Zulu to the instructor in the image!
Just to clear up any confusion here. The person in the left is a Cadet, which is a program for youth 12-17 year olds. It’s a leadership program. The person on the right is part of the Cadet instructor Cadre which is a cadet leader similar to an instructor in any youth programs. They do hold commissioned ranks in the Canadian forces however are their role is primarily volunteer. You can visit https://t.co/uUCUPTv8I1 . In addition to this, this program and its instructors saved my life when I was a kid! I was in and out of foster and group homes my whole youth and this program gave me a reason to stay focused and was one of the only stable things in my life! I owe everything I have in my life to this program! And the adult in this photo is volunteering their time to work with youth and help develop leadership skill and give these youth a place to learn and grow!! I don’t care how she looks or who she is, I applaud her and am thankful for people like her as without people like that I wouldn’t be where I am today!!
Ever notice how often U.S. Trump officials feel the need to offer an opinion on the bodies of underage women?
(Cadets is a program for people under the age of 19.)
Dear fellow Canadians, let's show these young cadets the respect and appreciation that they truly deserve. We love you and thank you for being such great Canadians ❤️🇨🇦✌️. Please repost!
The American administration is beyond a joke- this guy should never make fun of anyone, these cadets are more tough and capable than he will ever be. His “workout” video with American forces was such a laughingstock it was a security concern. I’m proud of our cadets, shame on Hegseth.
@PeteHegseth Cadets do great work, and are not members of the military. 158 members of the Canadian military gave their lives in Afghanistan after your country was attacked.
Canada and the US have a great history of fighting together for freedom and justice. It's history worth remembering.
Tonight we gathered in Summerland to thank the Summerland fire department.
These 32 men and women are our heroes.
Seeing the huge crowd cheering endlessly for the brave men and women who helped save Summerland, has been one of the most humbling experiences of my life. There was a little girl in the crowd holding a sign that said “thank you Dad” 😭. We all needed tissues tonight.
Summerland fire department, your bravery will go down in history.
Thank you 🙏

🚨Washington isn’t offering Alberta freedom. It’s pricing the oil.
🧮Another proof America is actively working to break Canada apart.
This isn’t fringe chatter. A sitting U.S. congressman just said it out loud on Newsmax:
Rep. Andy Harris: “The fact of the matter is Alberta is talking about seceding from Canada. We should make it the 51st state. Tremendous oil reserves there.”
That’s the tell. Not solidarity with Albertans. Oil.
Here is Ruth Ben-Ghiat — historian and expert on authoritarianism, author of Strongmen — laying out the analysis. MAGA doesn’t want a stronger Canada. It wants Alberta peeled off so Washington can put a flag on the resources, or squeeze a weaker province later. Secession is the opening move. Annexation, or a shakedown, is the endgame.
And they are saying it in public now: Western Canada is “talking about leaving,” Ottawa is the enemy, socialism “doesn’t work,” so the President should take advantage of the split.
That’s not diplomacy. That’s a neighbour talking about carving up the country next door.
A congressman naming Alberta as the 51st state is not a joke anymore. It’s the policy talking point.
Canada: they already showed the method in Venezuela: another oil-rich country they sanctioned, isolated, and talked about taking the reserves from — pressure first, the oil always in the sentence.
Albertans: when a U.S. congressman names you the 51st state because of your oil, that is not solidarity — that is a resource grab, so don’t confuse being stripped for parts with being free.
Alberta, do you realize the danger ?

@McLeanChronicle I mean, 6 days ago, he was announcing the shipbuilding contract in Laval Quebec. So, I guess truth doesn't matter to you, does it? He also responded to the "renaming" of Lake Ontario in public. Weird that you are unaware of these things.
SOME VERY WEIRD KLF STAFFING UPDATES
Here is a photo of @BCConservCaucus Director of Communications @cosminDZS attending the Independent Press Gallery’s inaugural Awards Luncheon this past weekend with his former (current?) @junonewscom colleagues.
So apparently he works as high-level staff for the caucus led by @Conservative_BC leader @KerryLynneFindl...while continuing to move in the independent-media world with his former colleagues.
Quite the double-identity set-up!
Further, we can now confirm that @DomenicCinalli, the man rumoured to be behind the epic failure that was the now-shuttered @bcwarroomhq, and also the man who says things like this:
“All of our governance and our laws are actually happening outside of Canada. It's being done at a higher level.”
“The new world order is a new way of governing. That all that the countries are going to be are managers of whatever they tell them to do.”
...is now a Research Officer supporting KLF’s new caucus team.
We couldn't make this shit up if we tried, folks!
The biggest German defeat in Normandy was the Falaise Pocket.
The actual closing of the Pocket was largely done by the Poles and Canadians, who had also done a lot of the hard attritional fighting around Caen, alongside the Brits.
I like it when these "minor" nations pull off decisive victories that decide the fate of a campaign.
And this wasn't the only example.
Poles and Canadians were top-class soldiers in WW2. Fought well in Holland, in Italy, in France and in many other campaigns.
