@BadNewsMorgans@RomanShackles@RetroMoviesDB I actually really enjoyed ToD. It's got its flaws, but it'll always be a lazy Sunday afternoon movie for me. I can't think of any movie that's flawless, but that's just my opinion. I thought Scott Pilgrim was a bag of moose cocks, but plenty of people would disagree with me.
@Stevens90_2718@bstonercpa@RetroMoviesDB I can't think of a single film that doesn't have flaws somewhere. It's easy to roast other people's opinions - but I don't recall the OP asking us to do that. What's your no. 1 trilogy?
@CBarrett47@Stevens90_2718@bstonercpa@RetroMoviesDB Oh hush now. OP didn't ask us to roast people's choices. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, why not give us yours? Personally, I love Nolan's Batman trilogy as well, and TLotR. Not so keen on The Hobbit trilogy, I thought it was too much of a stretch for 3 films.
@BestMovieMom The thing I love about this scene is that Vader really isn't trying. He's so casual about everything. Flicking away with his lightsaber and casually hurling stuff at Luke. You genuinely feel that he's just toying with Luke. This is a guy who can keep a starship from taking off.
@SphereChaser@IanBurke156@TheMekon_Venus ...and has been seen as a few different things on screen, like a Circus truck ("Terror of the Autons") a statue ("The Keeper of Traken"), a Grandfather clock ("Keeper of Traken" again, and "The Deadly Assassin"), and a Doric column ("Logopolis", "Castrovalva", "Time Flight).
@SphereChaser@IanBurke156@TheMekon_Venus It got "stuck" as a Police Box after the Doctor landed in London in 1963. There's been a few episodes where the Doctor tries to fix it, but he's never managed to. The Master on the other hand, his TARDIS has a working Chameleon Circuit...
@VideoGameHstry I had one of these, region unlocked, I got it from Play Asia back in the day. My ex sold it. Now when I look at eBay and how much they're worth I don't know whether to cry because I no longer have it, or laugh. Amazing machine, really wish I still had it. Sigh.
@PJW6466@creepydotorg I'm with you on this one. LEGO is the company name, their product is LEGO bricks, pieces, or sets, not "LEGOs". Yeah, I know, I should just "LEGO" of it, and I know it's irrational, and in the grand scheme of things it's a nothing, but it just annoys me.
@jump_drive_flyr@TheMekon_Venus Yup, the dreaded "Twenty on Titan" judgement. The Titan penal colony required inmates to be surgically "enhanced" because of the atmosphere, but I guess they couldn't do that to Assante's Rico Dredd 😆.
