The government’s austerity squeeze on council budgets has put arts funding on the chopping board time and again.
Soon there won’t be any local government arts funding left. We’ve got to draw the line.

The tiered Uniqlo dress seems like a shared part of the female experience at the moment. Every time I wear mine I see someone else in it as well and we stop to compliment each other. I love being a woman
Victory to @sagaftra! Our sister union is on strike in the United States, fighting for a fair contract, and facing the same issues we face here in the UK.

Due to industrial action taking place from now until 11pm today, there'll be fewer ambulances on the roads + fewer staff triaging 999 calls.

Oh for goodness sake - compulsory maths until 18?! I have three Maths GCSEs all Grade D's, but I have a degree and have run my own successful business. Some people are just not mathematicians just like some people are not plumbers. @BBCr4today@ChrisMasonBBC
The final bill was actually closer to 30p for that day, meaning they were trying to charge us over 1400x what we actually used. In a cost of living crisis. How many people have had to go without food or heating because of a "system error"
I received a final bill from @OctopusEnergy, for a flat I recently moved out of, trying to charge over £400 for 1 day of gas. It was easily resolved by calling their customer service but I can't help thinking of how much money they must make from vulnerable people who fall for it
In Love Actually, it is assumed that Aurelia lives in Portugal with her family. At the end of the film Jamie flies into Marseille airport (France) then gets a taxi to Aurelia's. That's a 15 hour drive. Almost 1000 miles. Make it make sense
So sorry you feel that way @MooneyTher The @UKYP was established to give young people a voice on the issues that matter to them. It provides a wide range of opportunities to a diverse group of yp, it is what you make it.
Truly unhinged advertising from a church in South London. How can it be considered "Christian" to compare the death of over a million people to someone not believing in Jesus?
