The final bill was actually closer to 30p for that day, meaning they were trying to charge us over 1400x what we actually used. In a cost of living crisis. How many people have had to go without food or heating because of a "system error"

I received a final bill from @OctopusEnergy, for a flat I recently moved out of, trying to charge over £400 for 1 day of gas. It was easily resolved by calling their customer service but I can't help thinking of how much money they must make from vulnerable people who fall for it
