🇮🇸 Icelandic commandos boarded an activist ship and detained all 21 people aboard.
Not one report says they were “kidnapped.”
Mossad Linguistics is examining the possibility that it can only be considered "kidnapping" when the arresting officers are Jewish.
@JereTHokkanen@KatriinaRepone1 Eli mun pointti
@JereTHokkanen@KatriinaRepone1 Luitko artikkelia?
Pelkkä väärän kirjan omistaminen on rikos.
@SarahEttedgui In Morocco the people (non-jews) I spoke about this said they're Berber, Amazigh or sometimes they say "My dad is Berber, mother Arab". Different language, different culture.
I've heard Moroccan Jews say they're close to Berber, but never have I met one calling themselves Arab.
Caolan is a real fucking reporter. Missiles exploding behind him, and he keeps filming, while the entire Western media hides, closes its eyes, and pretends the war in Ukraine isn’t even happening.
Fucking thank you, @CaolanReports, for doing what the world won’t.

@Kredo0 Abdu has a long history of shilling for terrorists in Gaza. He once personally vouched that two persons killed in Gaza by the IDF were innocent civilians - but then PIJ said, uh well, they were military commanders. https://t.co/S48ACnCrl4
Absolutely insane that the second biggest contributor to the "Holocaust" entry on @Wikipedia is Levivich—a leader of the pro-Hamas Gang of 40 edit cartel.
Insane.
Hizbollah on Iranin keino käyttää valtaa Libanonissa. Ei Iranilla ts. Hizbollah-mielisillä, kuten parlamentin puhemiehellä, ole mitään motiivia luopua vallasta vapaaehtoisesti.
No, you have to be brain dead & ignorant af to believe using white phosphorus munitions is a war crime or that they're classified as chemical weapons & banned.
First of all, "chemical weapons" are defined by international law as munitions & devices "specifically designed to cause death or other harm through the toxic properties" (pic 1).
Yes, white phosphorous contains chemicals. Yes, it is a weapon. But that doesn't mean you can just put those two words together to form a "chemical weapon."
Seriously. You said it yourself in your own tweet that WP munitions "burn anything they touch." Which, is fair. But that means they are NOT specifically designed to cause death or other harm through toxic properties. Which means, by definition ... they're not "chemical weapons."
Second, the fact that they do essentially "burn anything they touch" also doesn't mean WP munitions are classified as "incendiary weapons," either. Not that this hero seems knowledgeable enough to know the difference, but that would be another potential basis to support the erroneous claim that WP is "banned."
Not that @Israel has ratified Protocol III to the Convention on Conventional Weapons to begin with. But even if that were NOT the case, WP isn't "banned" pursuant to this convention, either.
That's because Article I(1) of PIII, CCW defines an "incendiary weapon" as a munition "primarily designed to set fire to objects or to cause burn injury through the action of flame, heat, or combination thereof."
Any guesses which weapons are NOT primarily designed to do so? That's right, hero. White phosphorus. So they're not "banned" pursuant to the incendiary weapons protocol of the CCW, either.
Third, if they don't qualify as "chemical weapons" & they're not "banned" by the incendiary weapons protocol, is there any provision of international law that specifically prohibits using WP or, worse, would qualify as a prima facie "war crime"?
Answer: no. White phosphorus is treated just like any other munition & standard #LOAC rules apply. In fact, it's not uncommon to utilize Willy Pete against enemy personnel - just like any other munition (for example, see excerpt from DoD Law of War Manual in pic 4).
Finally, there is no legitimate empirical basis for the bullshit claim that @IDF has "killed more than 100,000 civilians in #Gaza alone." Even the Hamas Health Ministry's own statistics indicate ~73,000 people have been killed in Gaza - but these figures, as everyone knows by now, do not differentiate between #Hamas terrorists & civilians not taking a direct part in hostilities.
An observant reader may have noticed I said there is no legitimate empirical basis for this bullshit 100,000+ claim. That's because studies like the "Counting the dead in Gaza" paper published in 2024 @TheLancet begin with the Hamas Health Ministry figures then move forward with the decidedly anecdotal claim that "the number of reported deaths is likely an underestimate" (not pictured, available here: https://t.co/wCG1jEsMWi).
This anecdotal observation provides an excuse to incorporate speculative data from even more anecdotal sources. So we started with figures from Hamas that don't differentiate between militants & civilians who weren't taking a direct part in hostilities to begin with, then anecdotal sources are layered one on top of another to give the veneer of an "empirical" statistic of 100,000+ "civilians" killed in Gaza.
Here's the problem: it's all a hoax. The white phosphorus "ban" & the claim of systemic "war crimes" & the anecdotal "civilian" casualty statistics.
These fraudulent allegations have all been manufactured to provide ready-made talking points for anyone looking for an excuse to condemn Israel or to express hate toward Jews as a proxy for Israel.
And here's why it matters to everyone - not just to the Jewish community. These talking points have been manufactured as a convenient excuse to condemn Israel because Israel is the only Western-style democracy in the #MENA region.
That's right. This isn't just about what Iranian gov't officials have dubbed "The Little Satan" that the rest of us know as the State of Israel. It's also about America, which Iranian state ideology & discourse commonly describes as "The Great Satan" & other countries in the Western European sociopolitical tradition.
These ready-made talking points have been developed by America's, and Israel's, geopolitical competitors & adversaries - often by literal terrorists - to influence public opinion & then, in response, our own foreign policy.
And it's working, due in large part to dimwits like this Artist known as Jess here & his band of merry ignorant social media followers.
When you hear elected officials like @VP@JDVance warning @netanyahu et al that @POTUS@realDonaldTrump "is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time," it's all a response to garbage like these white phosphorus, war crimes, civilian casualty talking points that have been fabricated by our adversaries - those who want to see the West destroyed - then parroted by our own ignorant citizens & nationals who also hate the West for purely ideological reasons.
Unfortunately, this disease has been allowed to fester for far too long because most of us don't have the specialized knowledge to counter - with precision - these rampant ignorant accusations that are fabricated then repeated ad nauseum as an excuse to denounce Israel or to justify hateful rhetoric & conduct directed against the Jewish population.
Still, every little bit helps. Little by little, wave by wave, we can turn the tide against the foreign influence ops designed to shape our foreign policy by driving a wedge between us & the only MENA country that shares our Western heritage.
Today, it's white phosphorus & civilian casualties - again. Tomorrow it's sure to be some other bullshit talking point in addition to the ones addressed here.
If you didn't know before why white phosphorus munitions are not "classified as chemical weapons" or "banned" or using them is automatically a "war crime", or why it's an outright lie that "Israel has killed more than 100,000 civilians in Gaza alone" - now you know.
Don't be like the Artist known as Jess here. You do have to be brain dead & ignorant af to believe these lies.
But with even a little bit of specialized knowledge (or maybe even just a few google searches), anyone can counter rampant #legaldisinformation & not fall victim to foreign influence operations driving popular rhetoric across America & throughout the West.
Fuck terrorist propaganda.
Former AP journalist Matti Friedman admits that they had no choice but to be complicit with Hamas, and NOT admit that many of their dead were in civilian clothes.
I’m certain that ALL networks had no choice but to do this for fear of Hamas in Gaza.
I lived in Lebanon for 15 years, and in all those years I never missed a speech by Hassan Nasrallah.
I read the Iranian-funded Hezbollah newspaper Al-Akhbar every day.
I met with people who personally knew Nasrallah and heard directly from them about the man.
After all these years, I came to one conclusion: Hassan Nasrallah was honest when he said in an interview on Al-Mayadeen TV in 2022: ‘The wishes of the Ayatollah are my commandments.'
Hezbollah would never do anything if Iran didn’t command it.
What David is saying here is 100% true.

An open letter to @TheLancet from an Iranian-Jewish cardiologist.
Today, one of the world's most prestigious medical journals published a campaign to suspend the Israeli Medical Association from the World Medical Association — the body founded after WWII to ensure physicians would never again be weaponized by political ideology.
I'm a cardiologist. I'm an Iranian Jew who grew up under a regime where medicine was subjugated to the state.
What The Lancet just did is a disgrace to my profession.
Here's what they published — and what they deliberately left out.
The suffering of the people of Iran is not a partisan issue. The fact that their plight inside Iran has been politicised to the extent that their suffering doesn’t matter to the generality of Western civil society simply because it’s not Israel killing them but an appalling regime which not only PRETENDS to stand up for Palestinians, it’s real and clearly stated aim is to wipe Israel - and all Jews - off the face of the earth, will go down as one of the most disgraceful episodes in the history of our species.
