@LizKershawDJ If the output is online, how much will that actually save? They still have to have talent, tech and support crew and a studio with all those associated costs.
@SW18_67FC@johnrobinson07 Technically, it is shot from 2160 59.94 fps from the stadium. This has to be converted for broadcast uk to 1080i at 50fps.. means they have to drop the frames. To fit in with uk standards, hence the ‘blurryness’
@FonBeyon6@joemichalczuk That's because they are the host broadcaster, providing the crew, in this world cup they aint.
The International Broadcast Center (IBC) for the World Cup will be located in Dallas, Texas.
All global feeds will be distributed from the IBC to broadcasters worldwide.
@AdKempy Going to be interesting in how they resample from 59.94 to 50, which frames get dropped and the resulting images. Interesting in that the original is 2160p, that has to change to 1080i 50fps to fit in with the studio footage
@LeahA_White@marksandspencer They won't change it. I suggested they make the items to buy more generic. ie. £40 womens/mens clothing rather than earn £4 on mens t-shirt, Earn £5 on spend of £25 mens trousers and on food, lets say spend £32 to get £4 reward. They need to claw back lost profits.
@MaxiMumMother@MatthewTorfaen If the Montblanc pen was used to sign and write official documents, then it could be classed as a legitimate business expense?
Ben Thompson and/or Simon Jack should really inform viewers that Simon Wolfson CEO of Next, is a Tory peer. His opinions are clearly skewed to be negative towards the govt.
