Disagree..History doesn't care about feelings, only facts should be accepted. This is a redundant theory from 19th cent lit.
Instead of Baliraja, it is Balram /Sankarshana who is associated with worship related to farming activities, as per historical evidence.

Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos on a special invitation from Poland.
Yuvraj Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati has received a special invitation from Poland to participate in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), to be held in Davos, Switzerland. Under the aegis of the World Economic Forum, the Centre for International Relations (CIR), Poland, is organising a high-level session titled “Leaders Forum – Powered by Poland”, at which Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati will attend the inaugural ceremony as Guest of Honour.
The inaugural session will be attended by several distinguished global leaders, including Mr. Radosław Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister of Poland; Mr. Zbigniew Rau, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland; Mr. Andrius Kubilius, European Union Commissioner for Defence and Space; Mr. Josef Aschbacher, Director General of the European Space Agency; and H.S.H. Prince Michael of Liechtenstein, along with senior ministers, parliamentarians, global CEOs, and eminent scholars from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Indo-Pacific region.
The World Economic Forum is a Switzerland-based international institution that convenes heads of state and government, ministers, global business leaders, heads of international financial institutions, and leading experts from across the world at its annual meeting in Davos. The Forum serves as a critical platform for dialogue on global challenges such as healthcare, the world economy, peace and security, technology, industry, and international investment, and is regarded as one of the most influential gatherings shaping global policy coordination.
At the Leaders Forum – Powered by Poland, Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati will address the gathering as a Keynote Speaker. The session will also feature keynote addresses by Mr. Aleksander Kwaśniewski, former President of Poland, and Ms. Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand. In addition, Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati will participate as Guest of Honour in a high-level panel discussion alongside distinguished scholars, industrialists, and political leaders with expertise in geopolitics, global trade, international relations, technology, and strategic cooperation.
During his tenure as a Member of the Rajya Sabha, Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati represented India at several international forums and official engagements, fostering diplomatic relationships across regions. The historical foundations of India–Poland relations trace back to the Second World War, when the House of Chhatrapati of Kolhapur extended royal asylum to nearly five thousand Polish refugees, offering them shelter, education, and dignity at Valivade near Kolhapur. This humanitarian act continues to be remembered with deep respect in Poland.
Through sustained engagement by Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati, India–Poland relations have been further strengthened in recent years. In recognition of his contributions towards cultural diplomacy and people-to-people relations, the Government of Poland conferred upon him the prestigious Bene Merito honour in 2022. Poland’s continued engagement and the special invitation to Davos reflect its commitment to deepening these historic ties.
Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati’s participation at the World Economic Forum is expected to contribute meaningfully to the strengthening of India–Europe relations, particularly in the areas of diplomacy, cultural dialogue, and global investment. Built upon historical trust, humanitarian values, and continuity of leadership, this engagement is also expected to enhance global focus on India and Maharashtra, and to provide renewed momentum to India–Poland and India–Europe cooperation in the years ahead.

What 19 year old Vedamurti Devavrat Mahesh Rekhe has done will be remembered by the coming generations!
Every person passionate about Indian culture is proud of him for completing the Dandakrama Parayanam, consisting of 2000 mantras of the Shukla Yajurveda’s Madhyandini branch, in 50 days without any interruption. This includes several Vedic verses and sacred words recited flawlessly. He embodies the finest of our Guru Parampara.
As the MP from Kashi, I am elated that this extraordinary feat took place in this sacred city. My Pranams to his family, the several saints, seers, scholars and organisations from all over India that have supported him.
