For Drew, football has never just been a game.
Living with cystic fibrosis and diabetes, the pitch has been a place of routine, strength and escape. It’s how she protects her health, her mental wellbeing and her sense of who she is.
After years of pushing through illness, hospital stays and setbacks, an ACL injury has now placed another barrier in front of her. Not because she lacks resilience or ambition, but because access, funding and support still aren’t equal for everyone in the women’s game.
If you want to hear more about Drew’s journey and why stories like hers matter in conversations about care, access and sustainability in women’s football, head to the link in the comments to read our latest piece.
Every donation and share helps bring Drew closer to returning to the pitch and continuing the sport that is central to her health and wellbeing.
You can support her by donating or sharing her fundraiser via the link in our linktree (located in our bio).

🚨 John Herdman on choosing Indonesia over other CONCACAF options:
🗣️ “My career has always been about building. I want to work with a federation that has the vision to take a country to places it has never been before.”
🗣️ “Indonesia is ready. No more excuses. We have the players, the ability, and a professional league. Now it’s time to build the habits needed for qualification.”
🗣️ “This is one of the most exciting jobs in world football. It’s not about rankings. There is a huge opportunity here in Indonesia to go somewhere no group of man or fan has ever been: reaching the World Cup. That is the mission.”
🗣️ “Every day I wake up, every day I get out of bed, everything I’ll be thinking about—other than my family—will be qualifying this team to the World Cup.”
Professional Game Academy players Grace Collinson, Lucy Noble and Lillie Coulson are all named in today's squad for our Adobe Women's FA Cup tie against Sheffield United!🙌
It's another incredible story for our pathway - with Grace having been at the club since U10!💙

🧩 Why Tempo and Clarity Go Hand in Hand
➡️ Modern football is played at a blistering pace. But speed alone isn’t enough—fast play without clear thinking leads to chaos.
➡️ The best teams play quickly and wisely, making split-second decisions that consistently punish the opponent.
Too often, players:
✔️Rush decisions under pressure
✔️Overthink or hesitate
✔️ Play fast but not smart
