On the brighter side, experiences like this remind you who your real friends are.

And I'll be in Edinburgh this March from the 22nd to the 29th. Plenty of memories to sift through; the bitter, the sweet and the ecstatic.

Oh my lawd it's been a looooooong time.

In summary, tried out streaming, was fun for a bit, but learned many lessons about trusting people too quickly.

The community of people I ended up with, about 50% were good eggs, the other 50%: Masters of ghosting.

[Maryam ✨🌙 @maryam_aTCK]

I also learned that avoidant behaviour is toxic to me; ignoring my messages, the ghosting, avoiding a difficult conversation about not wanting the friendship anymore, miss me with it.

If the friendship has come to an end, grow a spine and cut it. Stop wasting both our time.

@imolnar @BadWolf153 Well, there's always tabletop RPGs and D&D! The star-keeping, mathsiness plus fantasy storytelling might be a little up your ally. 😊

@BadWolf153 @imolnar Coming outta lurk just to witness this exchange 👀

Do you stream on Twitch too by any chance, Ian? 😂

@dicek2g I'm so insanely happy for you and @earlofsammich to have finally hung out with @BryanDechart and @AmeliaRBlaire!!! You four seem like the loveliest people. Hope you all had the best time ✨

[Maryam ✨🌙 @maryam_aTCK]

I think I might like this streaming thing.

Also, will be playing Tell Me Why this Pride month for this lovely boi. Not many trans characters treated well in video games, but so far I like this portrayal!

Been quiet on the activist front for more than a year now. Reasons are mainly research on local issues and resting, but also adult stuff like moving and getting a job post-graduation in the midst of Covid 🙃

[Maryam ✨🌙 @maryam_aTCK]

And in an interesting turn of events, I'm on Twitch now. Gonna do a test stream with Journey this weekend. Saturday afternoon / early Sunday morning GMT+8.

Drop on by for sand dunes and pretty soundtracks!

@kuroreoo Twitch recently updated its terms of service regarding copyright law, I think. Basically, VODs with copyrighted soundtracks are no longer allowed, but it's okay if the copyrighted soundtrack is live.

[Maryam ✨🌙 @maryam_aTCK]

@PolarPrem OMG I almost didn't recognise you 'cuz of the hair! Also, big congratulations, friend!

[Maryam ✨🌙 @maryam_aTCK]

@alexiamoon @DandESaga Me too! It was really nice to hear your voice and everyone else's too while playing games 💚
