✨Do you want to make money by creating a game? ✨
There are many pitfalls.
What drives people to buy what you create?
It all depends on features, benefits and the value your creation has for the individual person.🧵👇

@CoaguCo Thanks for the shout-out! I can't believe it's almost been a year since release. #GodotSteam saved me lots of time and was easy to extend and implement features when needed. Highly recommend this plugin for steam integrations
Godot tip:
If your game is single player be sure to set up the gamepad inputs to "all device" and not the "device 0" default value.
Unless you want players to ask you why their gamepad does not work (because they have multiple input devices connected).🤭#GodotEngine

Quick tip: Want to delete elements while iterating over an array? Go backward, start from the last element and work to the front.
If you go forwards, you'll:
❌Skip elements
❌Go out of bounds at the end
Not #GodotEngine specific, but implemented in Godot.

Hey #GodotEngine fellows!
Here's a neat little trick to pause/unpause your game when the window loses/gains focus.
Put this code in a singleton, it's a lifesaver! :D
Whew, so many thinky games to keep track of! How can I ever keep up? This is how!

Been having fun with @mashumafi's Pokaban. It's challenging but has lots of friendly features like level skip, a hint system, and unlimited undos so it's a stress-free experience. Poker concept is mostly just a theme but there are some new mechanics. Comes with a level editor!
My #DinoJam entry is done! 🤗
Also my first #GodotEngine 4 game! It has a bunch of awesome features, clipping sprites, GDScript 2.0 🤗 But there are also still some quirks and crashes, that's why it's in beta I guess 😛

#GodotEngine 4 just blew my mind!
There is an option to use Sprites (or any other CanvasItem) as a mask for its children! 🤯
I build so many custom solutions in 3.x that this is just a godsend! Thank you Godot devs for making such an awesome engine 😍

I'm happy to announce that once again, ALL of my games will be part of the @czskgamesweek on Steam!
Not only will be Aphrodite's Trial releasing tomorrow, but all my titles and their dlcs will go on sale as well.
The event starts tomorrow!
@SanderVhove It would be funny to see the screen slowly fill with snow over 30 minutes and then clears away after a 5 minute break, basically the Pomodoro technique

Here's a fun #GodotEngine tip. You can pull the texture from a sprite, or elsewhere, run it through the "Bitmap.opaque_to_polygons" function, and create accurate polygons for collisions, Area2Ds, etc.
Keep in mind, though, that it won't take into account any holes in your image.
