"India now accounts for 48% of real-time digital transactions globally, and several factors have contributed to this. Government initiatives like Jan Dhan have expanded financial access, affordable internet has made connectivity widespread, and strong national platforms have..
..made digital payments accessible. Our approach focuses on three key aspects: availability of all global payment modes, strict security, and convenience," - Harsh vardhan Masta, Head of Payments, Policybazaar highlighted at the #FEDBC2025.

People know about Yashish Dahiya as the CEO of Policybazaar who went to IIT, IIM & built a billion dollar company.
I’m going to tell things most don’t know about him. Stuff that makes him a high performance athlete even at the age of 52.
We spent few hours together talking about his other side.
Here it is 👇
His superpower is doing new things and training for it like there is no second chance.
At the age of 35 he started learning swimming for the first time.
And at the age of 40 went to the nationals masters swimming championships and won gold & silver in 400m & 200m freestyle at age.
He qualified to represent India at the Masters swimming world championship in Kazan. He was 40+ then.
All this while building Policybazaar.
At the age 44 he did his first triathalon and won it.
Holds the record for the fifth-fastest Ironman and third-fastest half Ironman triathlon timings across all Indian age groups.
Next was marathon on his mind
He started training for Half Marathon and his best is 1hour 30mins.
In 2022 at Rotterdam marathon he finished 3hr 7mins and qualified for Boston Marathon.
And at the age of 50 he ran Boston Marathon finished the race in 3hr 46mins.
He is 52 now and still trains every week and is competing in triathalons and marathons and running a 5 billion dollar company.
Btw, he qualified for NDA but couldn’t pursue it. That’s another interesting story.
We had a chat for over 90mins talking the balance between endurance sports, family, life and entrepreneurship.

🚨How cutting down the premium is harmful to health and health insurance?
One of my followers had bought a policy that I had suggested to buy 2 years ago!
He bought the comprehensive policy but did not buy a rider to cover consumable items(saying the premium is too much)
A couple of days ago he was hospitalized for a bypass surgery.
The hospital bill comes upwards of 7.5 lakhs.
Thankfully the policy covered most of the bill.
The insurer cut nearly 44,000 as he did not buy the rider for consumables which just cost Rs 2000-3000
Hospital Bill=7.57lakhs
Amount paid by insurer=7.13 lakhs
Amount paid by patient=Rs 44,896(Due to not adding consumable rider)
The amount covered by the insurer=More than 90%
If the rider had been added the company would have covered Rs 30,000-40,000
Lesson learnt:-
1. Buy a comprehensive policy
2. Dont cut down on policy conditions
3. Pay the premium even if it pinches you
4. Buy a policy as young as possible
5. Heart diseases cost a bomb and have a good sum assured
He was discharged today!
Overall he was so happy he did not pay too much for the surgery and gave me his blessings!❤️
No health insurance is not a scam!
Health insurance if used correctly can help u massively!
