@chamath Given the outcome of the OBBB, how do you envision achieving energy dominance? You’ve outlined long lead times for CCGTs and the commercialization challenges of nuclear and SMRs.

@collabfund Renewable developers used to flood the grid interconnection queue with fake projects to boost their portfolios. Requiring financial security for queue spots solved this but mainly pushed out smaller players, leaving big firms (like hyperscalers for load) to dominate.

@grid_status How does the new SPP intend to handle the increase in interconnection requests with this expansion? Seems to be the largest challenging in getting additional capacity on the grid considering the existing 7 year queue time.
