Our public history program is so well represented @NCPH this year! Thankful for the commitment of each of these public historians to the field! @IUILiberalArts#NCPH2025
Some of our students attended #NCPH2025 this week in Montréal, Canada! Kayley Schacht was awarded the Graduate Student Travel Award and presented alongside Hannah Brennan, Jessica Baloun, and Emma Donaghy. Monica Berg worked as a conference assistant. Congratulations, all!

Please remind yourself you *don't have to feel guilty* for not beginning a PhD program, quitting one, declining to apply for a job, resigning a position, or leaving your academic work behind completely.
Academic culture wants you to feel shame. Reject this. Live your life.
