Students don't have a version of your view of the mathematics. Students have their own version of mathematics, and we owe it to them to help them grow their own version, not to copy our version.

This is way cool 😎. I recently found a savings bond also. College for me was paid via bonds. Think it’s time to add college motif to classroom and engage students with similar task during goal time next week.
Fall cleaning. Found a U.S. Savings bond (issued in my maiden name) a gift I received in 1962 for $18.75, matured to $25 in 10 years, then paid interest until 2002. Now worth $208.75. How much interest did I earn? What was the rate?
