@andabaur @officialnhaynes I don't know, but it's always worth thinking about how the vessel would have been used and how the image would have been revealed, I guess.

@andabaur @officialnhaynes I wonder if the dangling bits do change the reading of the vase. As you drink from the vessel revealing the picture a little at a time. A at first appears to be intently focusing on his lovers wound, but then as you drain the vessel do we find A looking at something else???
