Google’s internal incentives are to build new stuff to get rewarded/promo’d. Maintaining something existing is not that promo-worthy.
It’s why every year there’s a new product for the same thing. Oh, migrating customers also not promo-worthy.
Why Google is so chaotic
When Surjit Bhalla starts warning the Modi regime, you know how terrible things really are.
1) India’s economy looks strong on the surface, but its growth story has weakened badly.
2) India has fallen behind in GDP growth, per-capita growth, and dollar-based growth, compared with other large economies.
3) Govt. keeps blaming others instead of fixing investment, productivity, and reform problems.
4) India failed to attract enough investors because policies like the BTT create distrust and legal uncertainty.
5) Unless India restores serious economic reform, political power will hide a steadily weakening economy.

Women's subjugation and lifelong torture
It's not fantasy. In Indian society, it's the truth. Here's a real life example in my own friend circle.
This girl, the daughter of a very powerful judge, of the highest caste, got married to man of same caste (naturally), 25 years ago. Every single day of her marriage has been repulsive. The man is an under-achiever, and constantly harasses her verbally. She cries. Is an independent professional earning her livelihood well. But cannot divorce the man as the retired parents (now very old) cry every time she mentions so (jaat wale kya kahenge). Her life is ruined. She is a hollow husk of the cheerful girl she used to be. Her daughter is a practising lawyer and has supported the mother all along. Now that man had a heart attack and almost died, but she brought him back to life by carefully nursing him. Is stuck even more as the moment she leaves him, he's certain to die as he's too dependent on her.
Once, I remember, that monster called me (and many others) at 10 pm quizzing where is my wife? That time she had sneaked out for a party with her friends, including my wife. I had to give him a thorough dressing down on the phone. Had he come over by mistake to check on her, I would have corrected him once and for all.
What do you even begin to call such slavery?
When I see such cases around me, and then I hear tales of 'our great culture', I realize what kind of a mind-numbing parallel universe we are inhabiting. Exploitation is glorified, enslavement is ritualized and degradation is eulogised.
Reject this nonsense now.
Reject boomer slavery.
Under the Hood of the Intune Certificate
The Intune certificate matters more than most people think. That Certificate keeps the policy sync alive and is also needed for IME communication, which means apps and scripts depend on it as well.
But when the certificate or its chain breaks, things can get funny. The device can still show a recent last check-in, while it is no longer able to receive the latest policies, apps, or scripts.
In this webinar, we will explain what the Intune MDM device certificate does, what changed with the Intune Intermediate certificate renewal, why some devices may have missed it, and how to find devices that still appear healthy but may not be.
But hey, it is all fine because the last check-in still moved… right?

@NathanMcNulty right-click context menu and file explorer in win 11 is excruciatingly slow. Now the solution is to boost cpu every time I right-click 🫠
Have you ever heard of these things called Managed Service Accounts? They allow you to run programs as an account that doesn't require a password while still having the security of a strong password. They're pretty neat.

Do you know how Entra ID applications work?
What about the security mess they can bring and what they can quietly break?

My new blog post is released. It explains in detail how applications (App Registrations, Service Principals, MI) and their permissions really work, why they can introduce several subtle paths for privilege escalation, and presents my open-source tool designed to uncover them.

You'll laugh because it's Kerberos realms and KDC proxies in cloud
