@DerekPederson3 I think size makes a real difference here. In a small state, networks are tighter. Small states are swingier and it’s easier to organize a significant number of voters.

@maxtmcc Protracted counting does give more opportunities for chain of custody failures (extended window of supervision / observation).

Quicker counting leading to higher confidence in counting process is rational, counting quickly is desirable for public surety.

@sp6runderrated (1) Democrats won statewide races in 2024 in most of the battleground states lost by Harris.

(2) While the election was not as close as 2016 & 2020, it was still fairly close.

(3) Issue polling suggests there were plenty of voters who held Harris to account for 2019 statements.

Which is what those critical of her are complaining about.

In her publications about the translation, she labeled it as a feminist translation and gave examples of how she chose to deviate from existing translations in order to advance a political agenda.
