@LazyDevsAcademy@analogue Only have tried out Gameboy cartridges, didn't feel loose, but don't know what happens when you have to use shoulder buttons.
@gogamego@dbokser91@playdate Found this speedrun. Someone beat the game in under 6 minutes, this seems to be the world record. 😮

Who can do less?
Today I play Upward for the Playdate. This game is a great, FREE puzzle/platformer and I had so much fun making this video. Come see why. @dbokser91 @heymatthias_ @playdate#GamersUnitedGuild

A black-and-white platformer on a black-and-white handheld? Sounds like a perfect fit!
Immensely proud that my game UPWARD got ported to the @playdate. Big thanks to @dbokser91 for the meticulous work.

@dbokser91 Great job so far. I think scaling the graphics ideally for the PlayDate is one of the challenges of this port. The next challenge will be timings: every screen/puzzle is very finely tuned to the speed of the player and other objects in the game. Getting this right will be key.
Did a little 3D software renderer in browser (using TypeScript, with vanilla JS you'd go crazy with this).
So far: wireframes, flat and gourard shading, unlit textures.
Steep learning curve but so satisfying when things come together on the screen.

Ported @3DSage excellent #doom engine tutorial to C# with #monogame. Always nice to move some pixels on the screen in #3d. Thanks for the great tutorial - looking forward to part 2.
