@JulieSeraSpray@taramcallister4@PhilippaIsom Thanks all, it was organised as an internal event for FMHS staff. The Eventbrite link that got out was replaced in later emails to our staff, but took on a life of its own. It needed to be locked after the Zoom link and password was posted on Twitter. Contact me for a recording.
@taramcallister4 Thanks, Tara. That was exactly the kaupapa, on the advice of the Office of the Tumuaki, showing Pākehā researchers examples of how others in their situation have engaged.
@graceeruiha Grace, I understand that you meant well, but I'm afraid that it was the public posting of the link that catalysed the disruptions. I didn't see any racism, just a troll trawling Twitter for unsecured Zoom meetings to disrupt.
🔐A retrospective audit of postoperative days alive and out of hospital, including before and after implementation of the WHO surgical safety checklist.
This great new paper from @matt_r_moore is now #FreeForAWeek to read and download!

@fperrywilson Mendeley, but it's owned by Elsevier, so will probably be used for evil at some stage. Development seems to have stalled, hopefully Zotero will chase it down soon.
School of Medicine and School of Medical science summer student presentation forum is about to kick off! Good chance to see what all the students floating around your labs have been up to this summer! @FMHS_UoA
@aoinifh Either that or one of the other anaphoric uses of 'ai' e.g. emphasising the causal nature (see Def 6. https://t.co/2dQzLvRm6h). I don't doubt your central point, that there is some fluidity between personal and possessive pronouns :)
@aoinifh I interpret the 'a' as a subject marker, with 'Hone' being the subject of the elaborating phrase 'i kōhuru ai' (i.e. could be equivalently rearranged as 'i kōhuru ai a Hone'. What would the pronoun be? 'tāna/nāna' or 'a ia'?
@leighhart70 @jacindaardern@TwoPaddocks Should do a special show at Redpaths Furniture in New Lynn. It's a former cinema that is now a furniture store, great ambience https://t.co/YSVSGu6nl0
@ngar1mu I notice that the plan says that the old station will be refurbished, but I see a park at the location of the current station. There seems to be a lot of undergrounding existing rail in this plan, will there be an underground station?
Every thought how so many claims to "benefit all of humanity" somehow rely on obliterating indigenous or other POCʻs, lands, religion, culture, values? When will the legacies of colonization and the occupation of indigenous lands be seen for what it is? But we see TRUTH Aole TMT
wtf is up with that cricket ending?
"We're tied after the first 9 hours! What do we do?!?"
"Play a little bit more."
"Okay, we're still tied. Should we play a bit more?"
"Nah, can't do that, let's just pick some random category and whoever had more of those wins"
