@simon_ree Correct, but emphasis on 2-4 weeks part of my response. We can fill gaps in short period like that, 3-9 months and much bigger problems arise.
@anandragn I don’t understand your disbelief, every HPC data center company has and will continue to dilute until enough active HPC data centers are cash flowing enough to fund future capex. No dilution Means missing out on rapidly building out their footprint.
@MarkTheLaird@Omeloparece Listen to Anthropic and Googles CEO’s, they are losing revenue due to lack of compute Mark, be patient, they own the bottleneck. If waiting allows better terms and gets you an even larger pre-payment, the wait will be worth it.
@DannyDayan5@NickTimiraos Don’t we all acknowledge that the data is lagged on the upside and downside. And every time the fed needs to adjust rates, they are either too late to raise or cut. Maybe it’s because we aren’t using more real time data to make policy decisions
@MoMoMacro If you game it out, sustained high prices or even ramping prices start to price in economic downturn and push yields down, maybe not this week but not far away. Or you get negotiations and de-escalation, which should have algos drive down oil and yields…..
