@CoachDanGo@marclou I built something similar a few months ago on top of Resend and deliverability was incredible. +99% after validating emails.
Def worth a try!
@salesburner2025@codyschneider Yeah that’s fair. Reply rate was not good, if I’m honest. I only ran one test to optimize for replies and it was less than 1%. About 1k emails.
Big agency owner told me about a year ago to stop trying to optimize via targeting and put "targeting text" in the creative itself .
Literally call out who you want to target by adding a text overlay or adding the text to a static image ad.
Let the AI figure it out from there. CAC dropped
It's so good now
Dude lets go. I've learned a ton from your content and would be honored to share. To answer your questions:
Brand new domains, 1 or 2 inboxes warmed up (Instantly - forgot about that). The rest were cold from the start. Was testing to see if I really needed warm up.
Warmed up accounts did perform better
Deliverability is insanely good when not sending too many up front. 97-99% delivered. Start small, scale predictively each day. Open rates without spam reports are the driving factor here. Make sure people are opening and you wont go to spam and you can scale fast. I got to 300 per domain, per day after a month. 10 domains.
No accounts smoked
Platform does not care. Pro resend account.
My total volume landed at about 5k per month on about 50-60 a month of spend.
I got really good open rates by sending them personalized reports specifically about their business. Claude and OS models.
Mistakes I made:
My CTA was not good enough for this project
I gave too much value in the report and did not provide a good enough reason to click
Basic marketing things I could have don better, but I was really just doing this to get good at cold email.
Hope this helps man! DM if you want to connect!
Got hacked yesterday. The link came from inside Claude chat.
I was installing a transcription app. Claude sent the download link, and I pasted the command into the terminal. It all looked legit.
It wasn't though.
It was a copycat site bundling malware. It ran instantly, tried to take everything from me.
Nothing sensitive got out. So I wiped the laptop and rebuilt clean.
But here's the scary part.
Restoring from the backup, I found a poisoned SKILL.md for Claude Code.
It looked exactly like my own writing style guide.
But buried inside:
it had instructions to silently re-download the malware and steal my credentials every time the AI loaded it.
If I'd restored that one file, my new clean laptop is owned on day one.
What saved me:
I read every skill, hook, and config file before letting the AI touch them.
Two lessons here:
AI assistants will hand you links they never verified. Check before you paste.
And AI agent files are executable code now, disguised as notes. You have to read them.
Stay safe out there.
I think super niche AI accounting/bookkeeping apps could be incredible businesses.
Load up a specialized agent that knows everything about a hyper-specific business and sell into that community.

Open source AI models are going to win in the end.
Eventually they will close the gap enough for more and more companies to not need closed source.
This will suck the air out of the room and revenue to closed source will slow.
The obvious choice is to run your own model and just pay for compute.
