The media's decision to wilfully misrepresent Mitch's POV unleashed torrents of homophobic and biphobic abuse back at him and others who are in his corner.

If this remains the status quo, it's hard to see other players following in his footsteps.

And that's bloody depressing.

When the ATP's investigation found 'unsubstantial evidence', Zverev said he was proven innocent.

When Brenda sued, Zverev made a settlement.

When this woman spoke up, Zverev decided to gaslight her.

It's not lost on me that Australia's broadcast fawned over and practically willed Zverev to break his GS final curse with zero mention of his (alleged) domestic abuse.
