My biannual reminder that if you don't want your top track on Spotify Wrapped to be Brown Noise 3 Hours (Loopable No Fade), my web app Ambiphone has loads of brown noise, white noise, ambient music and other sounds for free, no ads

.@networkrail's station lifts API - which shows which lifts are broken - has itself been broken for a month.
That means that my site (https://t.co/ZhMqXaPgEO), @nationalrailenq's access map, and any other service which shows lift status have been completely wrong since 14 April
As usual, toolbar/overlay vendors are seizing the opportunity to use #GAAD for marketing via their customers, often with inaccessible posts like this

Today is #GAAD!
We're proud to partner with @reciteme, making our website accessible for all. In Q1 2026, 81 users accessed the toolbar, mainly on mobile! Check out our accessibility tools: https://t.co/VWXWUXJkuS.
Day 1/7 | #GAAD week
We audited 1,000+ web pages for accessibility — and what we found was a massive gap.
👇 But it's one we can fix together. Look through, and stay tuned all week as we go deeper.
@ArlingtonMAPD Please could you add alt text to your images to make them accessible to people who are blind or partially sighted and use screen readers?
Hi @networkrail, your lift status API is still broken and hasn't been working since 14 April. Do you have an estimate for when it's likely to be fixed?

@networkrail@nationalrailenq Discovered this today while investigating why loads of lifts on https://t.co/ZhMqXaPgEO haven't updated in a month. Turns out the API is frozen in time at 14 April
Here's a dump of the data as of 4.30pm on 14 May - look at the updatedTime column:

@Bovelett@toggl EAA was my first thought too but I _think_ it only applies to some quite specific industries like transportation and banking. Happy to be corrected though! And yes please do contact them, the more feedback they get the better
Disappointing response from @toggl to my colleague who asked why desktop app doesn't respond to Windows font size preferences and why their web app isn't accessible (loads of unlabelled buttons when using screen reader).
Asking for basic accessibility isn't a feature request
Second time in about 6 months that engineers working for @CityFibre have knocked out our @HeyBroadband connection while pulling cables through shared ducts. Please can you both work out why this keeps happening and stop it from happening again? I can DM details
