@jeffseibert@AdamTzag@Lutron FWIW, RA2 certification is free - you can take the class online and the test, and then you get access to the software and utilities. My understanding is that the system is fairly complicated, so they don't want randos messing with the configuration and generating support cases
@IanColdwater Week 1 at first real salaried tech job. Go to the datacenter to swap out a bad node in the prod load balancer cluster with a colleague. At their request, typed "shutdown -h now"....not knowing the console was on the LIVE node. Datacenter phone started ringing ~15 seconds later.
@dittycheria@MongoDB@datadoghq I remember raising money in NYC in 2003-2004 and having VCs tell us theyโd fund us if we moved to Boston or the Bay Area. Seems laughable now.
Two of the awesome #appsheet PMs gave an overview of some of the features we've shipped recently, plus some of our new announcements at #GoogleCloudNext - Check it out here https://t.co/45XbesLkuA
What's really exciting about this feature is that the language model doesn't just blindly match the text to the title of a field, it actually contextually interprets the text, and then will show you how it decided to match the text to the field.
Great feature for filling out forms in the AppSheet mobile app. Allows you to fill out a form--in demo for incident tracker--via voice, and an LLM parses the text into the form fields.

@DanielChesley Itโs been this way for years - I knew a relatively junior rep who cleared $1m on one massive deal with a financial services company a number of years ago. But also if you have two or three bad quarters theyโll show you the door. Most mercenary job in tech .
@dieworkwear@dieworkwear Curious who you recommend in terms of basics - t-shirts in particular? I don't want logos or text on my t's if at all possible, so I just really want durable, well-made, broad color options
@BenVernia@TrungTPhan It doesn't work like that - the LLM isn't trained on your data, it's generically trained, and then queried with context that's specific to you, but it doesn't retrain with that context.
๐๏ธ Build a no-code app using a built-in #AppSheet database
This new codelab will give you an overview of an example app that leverages the new built-in database feature in AppSheet.

@protosphinx Hey @protosphinx - itโs exactly as the other person says - as an acquisition thereโs a bunch of hoops we have to jump through to remove that dialog. Sorry, I know itโs an odd experience
@nikitabier@mattturck Our co-op required max 70% financing for a mortgage AND you had to completely redo the board package and go through the approval process again (except for the interview)
