@davescrivener We need extensive photo ticketing. Automatic fines for passing streetcars, going straight on king, blocking the box, driving/parking in bike lanes. Drivers will be upset, but it will actually make the whole city move better.
@FiveThirtyEight It seems like there's something wrong with your methodology when every single A-/A/A+ pollster lands on the same side of 0 for prediction error. Shouldn't your top results be more or less evenly spread around 0?
@chrislhayes How could any private bank survive a bank run? Their business model is lending out their deposits. They literally all have significantly less cash available than deposits.
@shawnmicallef@TorontoStar Why is all of the media dedicated to a @Penalosa_G loss? Already announced, 2022 runner up, he gets a glancing mention as a "may appear" candidate. He's not perfect, as requested.
@davescrivener @fullofwhoa I think you're blaming the building code for geometry. Shared exits preclude most units from spanning the building unless they're 2 storeys to stradle the hallways, likely more than doubling the cost.
@davescrivener I enjoyed Mexico City. I'd stick to Uber or bike share for transport. The subway has a lot of pickpockets. Spots I found cool, Museo Dolores Olmedo, canal boats in Xochimilco, Biblioteca Vasconcelos. Area around Parque Mรฉxico is a bit fancier if you like that
@JShamess The body shops aren't pretty, but we actually do need affordable employment lands. Maybe build condos in neighbourhoods instead of knocking down or converting so much of the city's existing commercial real estate.
