@davescrivener @fullofwhoa I think you're blaming the building code for geometry. Shared exits preclude most units from spanning the building unless they're 2 storeys to stradle the hallways, likely more than doubling the cost.

@davescrivener I enjoyed Mexico City. I'd stick to Uber or bike share for transport. The subway has a lot of pickpockets. Spots I found cool, Museo Dolores Olmedo, canal boats in Xochimilco, Biblioteca Vasconcelos. Area around Parque México is a bit fancier if you like that
