@therobsta75@Delhicko @Craig_Tonge @OZEVgovuk@BorisJohnson@transportgovuk Well it will have a bearing on things like low emission zones, maybe other perks. Some of it is raising awareness of what sort of EVs there are, and how many are actually on the road (as many people still think there are no "normal" cars that are EVs and there aren't any about)
@Delhicko @Craig_Tonge @OZEVgovuk@BorisJohnson@transportgovuk But they're advertising using a green block on the number plate which is restricted for BEV vehicles only. So that's a problem. They've obviously been doing it for a while, and I get that, but there should be some enforcement of it now, otherwise what is the point.
@EpicWinningMaz @ElecHighway Does Gloucester northbound work, now? Last time I was there the two chargers were struggling (constantly waiting for available power) if both in use!
@sweet_enough2 @MrJamesMay Ah, thanks. ๐๐ Had missed that. Assumed there had to be some disappointingly banal reason but you never know, it could have been more exciting ๐ feels like he should have kept the reg (if you can do such a thing with planes!)
@MrJamesMay Is this your plane (as I've heard previously asserted) and if so, how come it's being used for acrobatics in Cornwall - as featured in C5 "Happy Campers" programme?? ๐ค
@Grebingrebland@au_tom_otive@BBCMorningLive It was more the fact that he was making out he had no intention of visiting that charger(which was clearly nonsense) , and only did it because the other one was out of use. Just adding drama for the sake of drama, and perpetuating the perceived "issues"
@hughlaurie Our Daschund definitely recognises other Daschunds. She'll often bark at other dogs, but never barks at another Daschund. Always great mates from the off!
@au_tom_otive I have a Series III Land Rover, and as soon as I can afford to do so, I will be converting it to electric (hopefully myself). It will make it exceptionally good, I imagine
@jaylew333@rayd1475 @_calmdowndear @ferg93@harrismonkey Yes it really is. I thought early on they were hedging their bets with 2 different approaches, but not sure. although maybe that was the plan as Ariya and Megane now based on same platform.
@jaylew333@rayd1475 @_calmdowndear @ferg93@harrismonkey Nissan for a start. The Leaf is renowned for it with only passive cooling , during driving or too many rapid charges. It even has a light to tell you it's getting too hot. ๐ฌ
@jaylew333@rayd1475 @_calmdowndear @ferg93@harrismonkey I've got a Zero FXS too, and it's VERY easy get temp warnings and restricted power on that if ridden in a "spirited" way.. So it's definitely an issue to be solved. But think it's doable and Renault have always been aware of temp, its effects, and how to control it..Unlike some!
@jaylew333@rayd1475 @_calmdowndear @ferg93@harrismonkey I have been told the cooling systems were tested during hot summer in Seville... So I'd imagine it probably be ok in UK ๐คฃBut yes track is another matter. I still think Renault would have more than enough knowledge and tech to build a Zoe or Megane EV that could cope with track
